Awesome! ive been researching the feasability of including standard or blue marron,(cherax cainii, i believe) in a home aquaponics system. redclaw is out.. they need warmer water than the cherax cainii- but i will much appreciate any words of wisdom especially on the possibility of brooding young in tanks.. Vincent leblanc, from 'violon et champignon', takes us around his passive solar greenhouse with aquaponics where he grows vegetables during harsh canadian winters. discover the system that allows. Anyone that runs aquaponics systems will tell you that during the winter months the vegetable grow beds radiate all warmth out of the system and into the heavens. so unless you have a passive solar green house and some method to heat the water, its best to stick to fish that enjoy your climate..
